Introducing the Reltio MCP Server: unlocking trusted data for the agentic AI era

We’re at a turning point in enterprise technology. AI agents and large-language models (LLMs) are no longer just proof-of-concept tools—they’re rapidly becoming core building blocks of how work gets done. But there’s one thing standing in their way of true enterprise adoption: data. Specifically, the ability for these agents to interact with the high-quality, real-time, trusted data that enterprises rely on every day.

Today, I’m excited to share a significant development that puts Reltio at the forefront of solving that problem: the launch of the Reltio® MCP Server.

The Reltio MCP Server is a powerful new capability that allows LLM-powered agents—like those from Claude, Bedrock, or Vertex—to connect directly with Reltio’s trusted data through the open standard Model Context Protocol (MCP). This means agents can search profiles, review matches, and update entities within the Reltio Platform in real time, without custom development, brittle connectors, or complex workarounds.

A secure and robust developer’s edition is available immediately for customers and partners. We’ve included a demo to help you get started with a real-world use case: automating one of the most tedious and research-intensive tasks—resolving potential matches, using AI agents as intelligent collaborators.

What is MCP—and why does it matter?

MCP was introduced in late 2024 by Anthropic as a standardized way for AI agents to talk to software systems, data platforms, and services. It defines a clear set of interaction patterns that models can understand and execute, so they don’t have to “guess” how to access or work with enterprise data. It’s a universal interface between intelligent agents and the tools they need to use.

Think of it like what JDBC did for databases or Ethernet did for networking. Before those standards, every connection required custom wiring. After the standard? A simple, pluggable approach that made innovation faster, cheaper, and more scalable. MCP does the same for enterprise AI. It standardizes the interface, reduces complexity, and accelerates innovation across the ecosystem.

With Reltio MCP Server, we’ve implemented that standard so that any compliant agent can discover, access, and act on data in the Reltio platform—securely, accurately, and in real time.

Why this matters to you

AI has incredible potential—but only when connected to your enterprise’s most trusted data. That’s where most companies get stuck. They either rely on static data snapshots or spend months building fragile, one-off integrations. The result is AI that’s siloed, slow, and disconnected from the reality of the business.

Reltio MCP Server eliminates those roadblocks.

With it, your AI agents and copilots can directly interact with unified, trusted, real-time data from your Reltio Data Cloud. No more guesswork. No more manual integration pipelines. Just fast, secure access to the data that fuels operations, decision-making, and innovation.

This opens up a world of possibilities:

  • Speed-up AI adoption across business functions by making Reltio data universally accessible to agents.
  • Power intelligent copilots that enrich and update profiles based on real-time context.
  • Automate match review and data-quality workflows without waiting for IT.

In short, the Reltio MCP Server makes your data usable by the next generation of enterprise AI—accelerating time to value and laying the groundwork for true automation at scale.

A new layer of data intelligence for Reltio

Our platform has always delivered unified, trusted, real-time data. And with MCP, that data becomes actionable by intelligent agents. Suddenly, the entities, relationships, and profiles in your Reltio Data Cloud are not just searchable—they’re accessible to AI systems that can reason over them, automate stewardship tasks, and drive intelligent workflows.

This capability is rooted in Reltio’s knowledge graph architecture. Unlike rigid relational models, the knowledge graph organizes data around entities (such as customers, providers, or products) and the relationships that connect them. This graph-based approach provides the flexibility, context, and speed that modern enterprises demand.

The Reltio MCP Server makes this graph AI-readable—bridging the gap between unified data and intelligent automation. It gives agents a structured, real-time map of how your enterprise data is connected, resolved, and trusted, enabling more accurate insights and actions.

From unified data to the intelligent data graph

The launch of the Reltio MCP Server also marks a critical step toward a larger transformation already underway at Reltio: the evolution of our knowledge graph into an intelligent data graph.

What’s the difference? The knowledge graph is the foundation—it resolves identities, connects data from multiple sources, and supports a 360-degree view of key entities. The intelligent data graph goes further. It incorporates new dimensions like unstructured data, signals from operational systems, and metadata. It’s context-aware, dynamically evolving, and built to support autonomous agents that operate across lines of business.

With this shift, your data isn’t just organized and connected—it’s ready to fuel intelligence. AI agents can interact with it in a way that mirrors human decision-making: reasoning over relationships, drawing conclusions from history, and taking action across systems. This is what the future of enterprise intelligence looks like.

The Reltio MCP Server is the gateway into that future. It enables agents to tap into the graph, not as a passive store of information, but as an active layer of real-time context and orchestration. That’s what we mean by “data in motion”—and it’s why this moment is so significant.

What’s next

The developer edition of the Reltio MCP Server is available now, and we encourage all partners and customers to begin exploring it. A fully managed, cloud-hosted edition will follow soon. In the months ahead, we’ll continue building more agentic capabilities—like automated match resolution, data quality agents, and intelligent enrichment—on top of the MCP foundation.

This is a first step, but a big one. We’re not just integrating AI—we’re helping build the connective tissue that makes enterprise AI work at scale. With the Reltio MCP Server, your data—and your AI—can finally operate as one.

Let’s shape the future of enterprise intelligence together.
