We sat down with Benny Hagood, Practice Lead, Information Management and Analytics at Slalom to find out what’s new and exciting.
Please tell our readers a little about yourself.
I joined Slalom Consulting in 2015 as Practice Leader for Information Management and Analytics. I bring 20 years of experience successfully delivering enterprise data management and information technology professional services to energy and utility clients. I was on the forefront of the Master Data Management (MDM) technology evolution through the Global Data Synchronization initiative. I have a B.B.A. in MIS from The University of Oklahoma and proud to be a “Sooner” living in the great state of Texas.

What’s new and exciting at Slalom?
Slalom recently opened a London and Toronto office expanding our US presence to international markets while maintaining our local model. In addition to market expansion, our industry solutions propelled to new heights last year through a National Products & Innovation Practice. This Practice was established to help clients rapidly and efficiently build innovative, interactive, engineered prototypes to validate business opportunities at a reduced investment. This approach has proven to deliver an exponential return across many Slalom business lines after the initial modeling phase is completed.
How do you see customers benefiting from the Slalom and Reltio partnership?
With industry leading data-driven applications and modern data management from Reltio, and the integrated delivery disciplines from Slalom, strategic and tailored solutions that were once thought to be complex, costly and resource consuming, can now be delivered faster at a significantly lower total cost of ownership. Clients across different industries will be able make to real-time business decisions through “data networking” as sensors, robotics and intelligent devices push vast amounts of data into their environments. Bringing this “un-common information” together in Reltio Cloud provides connectivity and management of all types of data in a low cost infrastructure that improves operational efficiency at the fingertips of the business.
