Reliable Data is the Key to Relevant Analytics: Cassandra and Spark in context of MDM

You can’t discover relevant and accurate insights using analytics and machine learning if the data is not reliable. With the pressures on enterprises today, customer profile information and specifically dimensional data is constantly in flux: data has to be continuously cleansed, new sources and attributes are always being added. All the data must be being matched and merged together, even as new big data sources are being streamed in. Factual, interaction and transaction data needs to be dynamically re-associated with these changed dimensions in order to derive meaningful insights. And it has to be done real-time.

At Reltio we developed our Cloud Modern Data Management Platform as a Service (PaaS) to include built in master data management (MDM) on Cassandra. We then leverage Spark to clean, de-duplicate dimensional data from multiple sources and automatically correlate it with factual and interaction data. This allows us to generate clean and accurate representations of complete datasets in graph form. This graph is used to seamlessly generate relevant and timely insights. This session will describe how Reltio Cloud was developed as a platform that seamlessly integrates Cassandra-Spark in a framework that is scalable, multi-tenant, near real-time and secure. Reltio Cloud is relied upon by some of the largest companies in the world in healthcare, life sciences, retail, high tech and more.
